Every matter in its own binder.Nobody reads the wrong one.

DekkoCORE gives integrity bodies, justice departments and corrective services one end-to-end encrypted place to share briefs of evidence with the agencies and lawyers on each matter. Every matter has its own Hub, files carry their protective markings, approvals are signed in the browser, and every view and download is recorded.

The problem

Concurrent investigations, shared inboxes.

Integrity bodies, justice departments and corrective services often work the same people and the same agencies across several matters at once. When briefs of evidence travel by email, shared drive or courier, files from one matter end up in front of people working on another.

Large video and audio don't fit through email at all, so they go on discs and drives that nobody can call back, and the record of who saw what is pieced together afterwards.

One matter

Inside the binder, divider by divider.

Follow matter OB-2026-014, a fictional misconduct referral, from the agency's referral to the signed report.

  1. The referral comes in through a secure link.

An agency refers a matter by uploading it through a secure submission link or QR code that needs no account. It lands in a new Hub for that matter, encrypted before it leaves the sender's device.

    • Submission links with no account
    • One Hub per matter
    • Uploads scanned for malware
  2. Video, audio and documents of any size.

Body-worn camera footage, interview recordings and large document sets go up in the browser or through the Upload Accelerator. Investigators play and read them in the secure viewer, without downloading copies.

    • No file size limits
    • Play video and audio in the browser
    • View only, with nothing to keep
  3. Every file carries its protective marking.

Require a marking such as OFFICIAL: Sensitive or PROTECTED on every upload and message, so everyone on the matter knows how to handle what they're reading.

    • Markings required on uploads and messages
    • Handling banners in the viewer
    • Redaction that makes a separate copy
  4. Advice goes only to the people it's for.

Legal advice sits in its own folder, shared with counsel and the investigators who need it, View only. Agencies on the same matter don't see it.

    • Folders shared per person
    • Seven permission levels
    • Outside parties can't see each other
  5. Approvals are signed in the browser.

Reports and decisions go out as signature requests. Signers sign in first, and every signature and approval is recorded against the file.

    • Signature requests with expiry
    • Signed and approved events in the file history
    • No printing, scanning or couriers

What a commission's security team will ask.

Zero-knowledge, end to end
DekkoSecure can't read your evidence, and neither can anyone outside the share.
Hosted in Australia, IRAP assessed
DekkoCORE is hosted in-country and IRAP assessed for Australian government PROTECTED information.

Questions

Asked by investigators and counsel.

Can two matters involving the same people be kept apart?

Yes. Each matter has its own Hub with its own members. Someone working on one matter can't see another matter's files unless they're added to that Hub.

Can agencies send us evidence without an account?

Yes. Share a secure submission link or QR code, which needs no account. For agencies you work with on a matter throughout, invite them to the Hub instead.

How do we keep legal advice away from the other parties?

Put it in its own folder and share that folder only with counsel and the investigators who need it, View only. Nobody else on the matter can open it.

Can we show who saw the brief, and when?

Yes. Every view, download, signature and approval is logged against the file and can be exported. Tenancy-wide audit logs can be downloaded as CSV or streamed to your Log Analytics workspace.

Can investigators' names be kept from outside parties?

Yes. With de-identified sharing, outside parties see a consistent alias instead of your staff's names and emails.
